Is the pillow actively moving all the time? Why is mine not moving?
The airbags will only activate when you are asleep and the pillow detects a valid, real snoring sound. If you want to verify that the physical mechanics are working perfectly, connect the pillow to the mobile app, remove the outer pillowcase to observe closely, and turn on "Demonstration Mode" (Path: Me -> Demonstration Mode -> Enable). The airbags will then slowly alternate inflating and deflating for testing.
Do I absolutely need to download the mobile app to use the pillow?
No, it is a plug-and-play device. It operates its automatic anti-snoring functions out of the box as soon as it is powered on. However, downloading the companion app allows you to visualize your sleep data, see your exact snoring frequency/count, adjust feature sensitivity, and run motion demonstrations.
How do I power on and use the Nitetronic A1?
Operation is incredibly simple:
- Prepare a standard Type-A power adapter.
- Use the included L-shaped power cable to connect the pillow.
- Flip the power switch on. The pillow enters standby mode and will trigger automatically when snoring occurs.
Will the pillow's movement or sensors disturb my partner sleeping next to me?
No. "Senseless intervention" is a staple design of this product—it is virtually silent and runs unnoticed. It is uniquely calibrated to only respond to the person lying directly on top of it. To ensure it doesn't pick up outside noise, simply keep a distance of at least 10 cm (4 inches) between the A1 and any adjacent pillows.
What should I do if I feel the pillow height is too low?
You can place the specially provided height-adjusting pillow pad directly underneath the Nitetronic A1 to raise it. Do not place any blankets, towels, or extra items on top of the A1 pillow surface, as doing so will block the head position sensors and compromise the airbag tracking performance.
Can I use my own decorative pillowcase?
It is highly recommended to use the dedicated Nitetronic pillowcase. If you choose to use an aftermarket pillowcase, ensure that it fits very loosely and has plenty of slack. Tight, restrictive pillowcases constrict the internal airbags and prevent them from inflating and shifting properly.
Is the pillow washable? How do I clean it?
The main core of the pillow cannot be machine washed, hand washed, or dry cleaned, because it houses sensitive electronic components and sensors that water will destroy.
- Inner Core: Gently wipe down the inner cover surface with a damp cloth if needed. Never attempt to remove the permanent inner protective sleeve.
- Outer Pillowcase: This is fully detachable and can be washed according to the care label instructions.
